Active Directory

We at Suncore Microsystem work on Active Directory which is based on the LDAP protocol and is part of the Windows 2000 network, integrated to provide a directory service designed for distributed networking environments. Active Directory acts as the central authority for network security, acts as an integration point and provides a single point of management. Active directory can be used by GMS to authenticate user accounts and if required, access information for mail storage.

Features include:
- Central location for network administration and security.
- Information security and single sign-on for user access to networked resources
- The ability to scale up or down easily
- Standardizing access to application data
- Synchronization of directory updates across servers

Domain controller (DC)
Suncore Microsystem works on domain controller which is a server on a Microsoft Windows or Windows NT network that is responsible for allowing host access to Windows domain resources. The domain controllers in your network are the centerpiece of your Active Directory service. It stores user account information, authenticates users and enforces security policy for a Windows domain.

Remote Monitoring Technology
We at Suncore Microsystem Work on REMOTE Desktop Protocol which is an extension of the T-120 family of protocol standards. A multichannel capable protocol allows for separate virtual channels for carrying presentation data, serial device communication, licensing information, highly encrypted data (keyboard, mouse activity), and so on. As RDP is an extension of the core T Share protocol, several other capabilities are retained as part of the RDP, such as the architectural features necessary to support multipoint (multiparty sessions). Multipoint data delivery allows data from an application to be delivered in "real-time" to multiple parties without having to send the same data to each session individually (for example, Virtual Whiteboards).

    System Management Server (SMS) Overview
Suncore Microsystem work on Systems Management Server (SMS) which provides a feature-rich management and servicing solution. WE use SMS 2003 or System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (ConfigMgr) to manage networked Windows Embedded Standard-based devices alongside Windows desktop, Windows Server, and other Windows Mobile systems. SMS supplies an administration console that can be used on a Windows Server 2003 system to remotely perform management functions. Embedded device developers can use SMS or ConfigMgr to manage the deployment of security updates to Windows Embedded Standard-based devices. Client and server components for SMS are not included in the Windows Embedded Studio component database and must be separately obtained. The SMS Advanced Client runs on the Windows Embedded Standard device and reports system status to the server. Windows Embedded Standard requires the SMS 2003 Advanced Client; earlier versions of SMS are not supported.
